Taking Care Of Your Sewing Machine

Daily care is important in maintaining your sewing machine. Always try to keep the hook free of lint and dust, espacially after quilting. Positions for oiling depend on the machine. Refer to the instruction manual and put one two drops on. After this, try to sew until the oil is gone. If you use  your machine every day, oil your machine once a week. Some machines make noise when they need oiling.

About the Tension Block

Tension is the tightness of the top and bottom threads. In order to sew beautifully, keep an even balance between the top and bottom threads. Upper thread tension with higher dial numbers.
