Best Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:


  • 1 Kg Biryan rice or Basmati rice
  • 1 Cauliflower
  • 1 cup peas (Shelled)
  • 3 Carrots
  • 1 Cup French beans (finely cut)
  • 4 Potatoes
  • 3 Tomatoes (finely cut)
  • 4 Onions (finely cut)
  • 4 Green chilies
  • 1 Bunch fresh coriander (finely cut)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger/Garlic paste
  • 4 Lemon
  • 1/2 Cup Yogurt
  • 4 Green cardamoms
  • 1 tsp Black Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Cup Oil
  • 2 Eggs (hard-boiled and shelled)
  • 1/2 Cup fresh milk
  • A pinch yellow food colour

For Boiling the Rice:

  • 1/2 tsp Black cumin seeds
  • A few leaves mint
  • 2 Green chilies
  • Slat to taste
  • 1 tbsp White vinegar
Method Of Breyani Recipe:

Heat oil in a pot and fry onions brown in it. Take out on absorbent paper for crispness. In 1/2 the onions ans add yogurt, ginger/garlic and tomatoes and fry. Add green cardamoms, juice of lemons, black cumin, green chilies, fresh coriander and salt.

Heat oil in a frying pan and lightly fry cauliflower, carrots, peas and french beans and add to pot containing masala. Fry potatoes until golden and add to masala. Biryani masala is ready now.

In a large pot par-boil rice wit cumin, green chilies mint, salt ans vinegar. Drain excess water. Grease a pot. Layer with half the rice, then with all the vegetables and finally with the remaining rice.

Garnish with finely cut egg. Sprinkle yellow food colour mixed with luke-warm milk. Add remaining oniions and lemon juice and stream. Serve delicious Veetable biryani with raita and salad.
